Delete your data
Last updated 20 October 2026
SumBase has no accounts and no sign-in, so there is no account to delete. Two things can hold data, and each is deleted on its own.
Your portfolio, on your device
Everything you enter — positions, transactions, dividends, cost basis and settings — is stored on your device and never kept by us. Delete a portfolio inside the app, or uninstall SumBase, and it is gone with it. We cannot delete it for you, because we do not hold it. If you use Device copy, your data passes through our server, encrypted, and is deleted as soon as your other device has copied it, or within 15 minutes at most.
Diagnostic data, on our server
The app sends crash reports, and, if you allowed it, full diagnostic logs. Both are tied to an identifier derived from your device, which cannot be traced back to it, never to your name, email or an account. We keep them for 7 days and then delete them automatically.
If you used Ask Alon, your questions and their answers are kept under the same identifier, with no time limit, until you delete them the same way.
To delete them sooner, either:
- Open the app, go to the Settings menu and choose Delete my diagnostic data. Everything held for your device is deleted at once.
- Or email admin@onesum.app with the diagnostic identifier shown in the same menu, and we will delete it within 30 days.
You can also stop the full logs at any time in the Settings menu; see the Privacy Policy for what each kind contains.
